Introduction
Polydextrose
Polydextrose is a kind of D-glucose polymer which is made from glucose,sorbitol and citric acid by heating into a molten mixture at a specific ratio of 89:10:1 and then condensed by vacuum. Polydextrose is D-glucose random polycondensate, mainly with 1, 6-glucosidic bond, can also be combined with glucose, sorbitol, etc. The average molecular weight is about 3200 and the limit molecular weight is less than 22,000.
